Very good- complex, intelligent, engaging

Masterclass in acting. A superbly confident film.

Performance was great. Very engaging thru out. Would have liked to see her “downfall” to be less rushed/choppy - though approach used left me with my head spinning with speed and chaos of Tar’s fall.

Blanchett absolutely deserves to win another Oscar for this. I know there will probably be heated debates about this, since it would be her third, but just speaking for myself, I found it hard to come up with an argument against it while watching this film. Field has said he wrote the part for her, and that makes the most sense that anything has ever made. Nobody could have played this part except for Cate Blanchett. She has the rare ability to be a devil and an angel in the same instant; to make us laugh and recoil all at once.\r\rThis is a masterpiece.
