Great film in so many ways. The acting is spot on. The themes of friendship, sex, mental illness, racism, sexism, and the magic of cinema are woven into an engaging experience. Visually beautiful.

I thought this movie was brilliant. Race and mental health are still such taboo subjects to talk about and this movie approached it in a way that was heartfelt and heartbreaking. It didn’t just shove it in your face, it eased you into understanding what its like for people who are going through similar things. It kept you laughing at the right points, tearing up on others, and left feeling changed
