Great visuals. Okay story.

The story itself is a bit weak. The cinematography is fantastic and the acting was great. I feel that the children were a lot like children in our society rather than forest dwellers or water dwellers that they were suppose to be. All in all the movie is enjoyable and kept my attention throughout.

I thought it was a great movie. There was a lot of action. I would recommend watching the movie in 3D. The only issue is that the movie is too long.

better than the original as it avoided the silly self-indulgent over-acting that included overly obnoxious behaviour culminated in almost militarily smoking cigarettes. i was dreading the reappearance of that character but at least that drama was removed. the music this time was flawless until the closing credits where a bizarre pop song was forced on the audience instead of continuing the score
