Linklater's newest film does an admirable job of meshing fast paced comedy with moments of somber reflection. Each character is easily recognizable by the traits and tropes Linklater has them follow. The dialogue is quick, natural, and often witty.

Rather than a cliche, this was a real time trip back to the early eighties. Funny, sweet and leaves you wanting more

Omg, this film was hilarious! I really loved it, and i grew up it late 70s-80s so I can relate! The music in it is kick ass too! Thank you!!!
