The acting was excellent although the story was incomplete and predictable. It seemed to be a comedy that never realized the importance of the devastating trauma perpetrated on some of the young characters by cruel adults. They seemed to laugh at assault as if it was a minor event. Regina Hall had the biggest emotional arc and played it well. Sterling K Brown is always excellent. The unresolved ending left me flat.I would only recommend it to actors so they can watch the beats these actors play.

Not something to watch in a movie theater with friends and family

Started a little slow but there are funny parts

It was very real and raw. There were some scenes that made me feel so awkward, and others that were so funny. I would definitely call this a slice of life type movie and recommend it to anyone who enjoys those types of movies.
