It thought it was a good mixture of action and family drama. The special effects were outstanding. I would have liked the ending to have at least a little more exploration about starting their new lives at the crater. But overall I thought it did a good job avoiding the usual, played-out disaster movie cliches.

As a dystopia film, it's a riveting look into the hearts of mankind. Heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time.

Fun movie and the action disaster scenes were well done. Story didn't make much sense but it was fun nevertheless with constant action.

As good as the first.
