I don't think I can say enough good things about this movie. It was so wonderful!\rAs an adaptation, it works splendidly. There's some slight changes from Jane Austen's original novel, but they work in favor of the film and show great understanding of the source material. \rAs its own body of work, it is also fantastic. I thought the acting was captivating, the costumes rich, the use of color clever, and the production design so immersive. And the cherry on the cake is that it was both written and directed by women. I will probably watch this at least one more time.

A wonderful, colourful adaptation!

Really enjoyed this movie. Wonderful humour and great acting. Beautiful costumes as well. It also sounded like the entire audience enjoyed it as well. Thank you so much for the tickets.

This was beautifully filmed and acted, true to Austen’s insightful comedy about vanity, presumption, and love. We see Emma grow from an immature and beautiful young woman into a more caring and truthful young woman. The film is truthful in allowing Emma to suffer the consequences of her offenses against others but also to see them redeemed. And through it all we are happily entertained right up to the end.
