Unfocused. Lacks the tightness and the balance of tone that defines a classic Coen(s) film. It's very funny and the performances are strong, but it doesn't come together and seems to be missing critical scenes. Too many likeable characters die for a comedy. Including the bird. Focus should still greenlight part three of the supposed lesbian trilogy, I believe that these guys will nail it.

It felt like half a movie. It had so many good ideas and characters that were never fleshed out. This movie needed to be two hours to allow time for the plot points to connect and come full circle. A+ for costumes though.

I'm not entirely sure what about this didn't land for me. Everything was executed well (photography, editing, acting), I just felt like the writing was off.
