It was a slow moving movie, but I did appreciate the thoughtful portrayal of Marie Curie and her contributions to science.

More artistic than documentary. In trying to show internal struggle, it became convoluted and abstract. Inset scenes of radiations usages/issues are disruptive and confusing to the story line. There placement did not seem to make sense. If attempting to match to Curies state of mind, it was a non sequitor. At times characters were unnatural in movement and behavior. Choices seemed irrational. There was significant amount of stiffness in movement even at times when you would expect a more natural style of behavior (in private scenes, out of public sight). \rIt missed the mark.

Rosamund pike gave a riveting performance (the guy who played her husband was good as well) but the weird structure of the movie with the interspersed flash forwards throughout was a distraction. A ho hum Biopic but still worth a watch.

Too many edits! It was hard to follow at times...character development was sketchy. The writer tried to incorporate too many facets of her life and all were shortchanged.\rOk movie but I would not recommend to friends...\r
