It was a good story. Director did a pretty good job of translating the story (book?) to film, although there was a lot of dialogue to tell the backstory and dialogue was fast-paced, so it took some concentration on viewer's part to keep up.The acting was very good. I love Idris Elba.

The film was entertaining, but too long. Cut 20 minutes and it would have gotten 4 stars. Carol

Jessica Chastain, as always, is terrific, and the dialogue (script and direction by Aaron Sorkin) was snappy, intelligent, and interesting. However, the film suffered by too much exposition, length, and lack of judicial editing. In the end, it was just too much of a good thing.

it was a great movie from benning to end.
