I went into How to Train Your Dragon without any expectations, and came out completely hooked. The bond between Hiccup and Toothless, the stunning animation, and the heartfelt story pulled me in from the start. It’s more than just a kids’ movie—it’s about friendship, growth, and seeing the world differently. I’m proud to say I’ll be watching it again—and every sequel that comes after.\r

Overall, it was exactly the same story as the animated movie so I loved it but I did wish the live action version would have pushed the limits and extended the story with some deeper storylines and character development. The cast did great, the special effects looked good and the costumes were fabulous!

The movie is a bit long and slow; however the second half is very entertaining and it lets the audience warm up to the rest of the characters. I would recommend!

Great live adapation of a fan favorite series - all the actors resembled their characters and I appreciated it not looking as if there were too many computerized components to it. Would definetly recommend for any age.
