Very funny! Great performance from Robert Pattinson. Some of the parody was a bit too on the nose at times but still enjoyed the overall messaging.

Another bong hit

Though it struggles with some heavy-handed political messaging (still not sold on Mark Ruffalo's Trump impression), it's a lot of fun. The humor is zany and wild, the theater erupted in laughter many times. Coming off "Parasite", though, it's a bit of a disappointment. It's not reaching as far as that film in terms of its capitalism allegory, nor is it as subtle or emotionally affecting. I'm not sure how well it will age once the orange man is gone (fingers crossed), but for this specific moment, it feels right. At the very least, you'll be in stitches.

Mickey 17 was an exceptional film. A beautiful and entertaining exploration into what it means to be human and the value of a human life. Pattinson continues to prove that he is one of the most dynamic actors currently on the business, while Ruffalo gives a genuinely funny and shockingly spot-on performance of a modern politician. I have already recommended this film to my community and will continue to do so beyond it's official release.
