May be the weirdest, most excentric film I've seen in years. Very dark, old-timey setting and music, pervasive mental illnesses, and antihero support. First 75% was difficult to watch but the ending and end credits were great.

While it was a very well made film, and the actors were all terrific in the perspective roles, I just didn’t enjoy the unrelenting depressing feeling throughout the film, or the message behind it that violence is the solution to the problems of the world.

They spread out why he was was unstable and not at all sane over 2 hours, and they could have condensed that instead of dragging it out. The Joker is a psychopath and smart, not a mentally insane person as depicted in this film.
