It was a very good movie. I would definately reccomend it to friends and family.

It dose not pay to go for that fast money.

Gritty and intense, an eye-opening perspective on the culture depicted. The main actor was entirely convincing, with speech patterns that sounded very much like those of a young man I once knew who grew up amidst many African American friends in Detroit. I liked the bit at the end, where the real Rick speaks, even thought he did not seem to exhibit the same convincing speech patterns, which surprised me a bit. Good movie thought!

I really liked this movie. The combination of a serious storyline with the humor of well placed jokes was spot on. Great acting all around, everyone was believable. The end felt pretty slow though, which I understand is part of the true story, but I thought it could have been presented a little better.
