It is one of the better anime adaptions, but twisted the underlying story of the original a bit too much.

This movie was okay at best, the main character was awkward and I wish it remained truer to the anime/ graphic novels it was based on. Visually it looks good but doesn't break any new ground. I wish it paid homage to graphic novels like Sin City does. Knowing what I know and having seen the film I would recommend that my friends who are die hards and have to see it rent it or stream it.

It was good, but not fantastic.

The first third of the movie was kind of slow but the middle and end were alot more adventurous. I think it could've used a little more humor too.
