Coming-out and coming-of age story.\rPaul Bettany elevates this saga

I'm on the fence with this one. I loved the inside, wrap around story. Giving only what we needed to see throughout the film. I love that the story is told from the outside point of view of the niece and that is where I kind of have to let my no vote go to die. A young person's POV is just as valid as an adult's. As much as this was a coming of age story, it was very generational. That I believe is where this film really shines. It lets the nuance of imagination and harshness of life co-exist in a way that under normal circumstances it cannot. Well played and reasonably represented.
