It won’t be as timeless as The Shining, and I didn’t really appreciate the scenes with Danny’s parents. Granted, Shelley Duvall or Jack Nicholson don’t look the same they did back in 1980 either, but it could’ve been scrapped or done something different. The fact that they used different actors noticeable different looking threw me off.Other than that it was a fun experience. I’ll see it again

This is a apt sequel to The Shining

Was a good movie. Not exactly horror but a good thriller. Very long and slow but I liked it.

Is a great psychological thriller but not as well done as the original, The Shining. Jack Nicholson cannot be beat for ultra-creepiness. The acting is good and tension is high, but a little less blood and gore would have been my preference. Better effort or result to psych you out mentally/psychically than to disgust you physically.
