Heartfelt story of an American family trying to survive.

I thought this movie was awesome and want to see it again. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time, kept my total attention and I did not fall asleep.

Acting is superb. Casting is perfect. It is a true story about some people in our society of no vision for better life. We need to find this children and help them. Troughout the movie I was wondering where were some teacher, social worker, clergy a neighbour to come to the rescue. It is aslo abiut our draconian laws and our stabornes to deal with drugs with greater understandig of addiction and needed intervention. But changes are coming. It is also scary to see a criminal element in our cities

This was a very profound and moving story. It was great to get a glimpse of the life of this teen. It was a truly unbelievable story and it made me want to know more about Rick and his life then and now.It is tragic that he lost so much of his life by making some wrong choices in life and by trusting people he should not have. I truly enjoyed this film and it opened my eyes to many things.Thank you for allowing me to screen it.
