Hidden Figures is an uplifting tale of the women "computers" of the early to mid 1960's era NASA as they struggle to be twice as valuable for less than half the respect of their white counterparts. Only rarely heavy on the preachiness, it is, first and foremost, an engaging and pleasantly human story in which anyone can invest themselves.

This movie was uplifting and very powerful. To see the struggle these women had to go through to come up within the struggle for women in a male dominated work environment, as well as segregated work place. I was inspired, and this movie made me proud of the strong women who helped make history.

Told stories of this nature must be brought to light much more often. How can such a great story be hidden for so long???
