They REALLY pushed the envelope on coincidental encyclopedic knowledge of all things in this one. These have almost become advertisements for tours in historical venues, even down to the point of suggesting a behind the scenes tour to one of the characters. All in all a fairly nominative effort with pointless running and rapid-fire over the top dialog. Simple escapist fare, but I think it has run its course for Professor Langdon. hopefully Dan Brown doesn't try to pump out another.

It felt like another sequel movie with sections being drawn out and feeling extreme long due to slow dialogue.

Overall, very good - lots of twists and turns, good acting. Cons: women running and fighting in heels - really!!??? Not enough puzzle-solving and history and too much violent action, story moved too quickly to enjoy the beauty of the cities it was set in or to develop characters we cared about. Stupid, sell-out, Hollywood "big bang" ending. Why didn't you just go ahead and add the stereotypical bomb with a clock counting down the seconds?

Tom Hanks carried it
