Not only is it a shot by shot remake it's also the exact same dialogue and script. While it was still enjoyable, well made and acted, just makes you wonder what's the point. Didn't add any nuance, depth, lore or backstory.

Epic, emotional, and beautifully made—this live-action take captures the magic of the original with jaw-dropping visuals and real heart. Toothless has never looked better, and the story still soars. A must-see for fans and newcomers alike.

True to the original which is sure to be a classic. A great story reimagined in live action with excellent. A must see.

Was an absolutely great movie. It was heartfelt, visually beautiful, and dragons looked really good. My only complaint was as a kids movie, it was about a half an hour too long. My 6 year old enjoyed it, but fell asleep for about 10 minutes toward the end.
