It is way too heavy on the religion. It is insincere and heavy on the tropes and worn out cliches. I think they ripped about 1/3 of the sappy dialogue and stock scenes from Nicolas Sparks films. There is nothing original or interesting about this movie. It is telling a worn out story with worn out scenes. Furthermore, it is obviously written by old people trying to imitate youth.

I think that this movie has a specific audience. I am not a very religious person, so this was not my particular movie, but I have a friend that I know would absolutely love this movie. I will most definitely tell my friend about the movie.
