The movie was cool

Solid entry for the Conjuring universe. Great acting from Linda Cardillini and the child actors. It was paced very well. Lots of creative jump scares. The plot was a bit predictable, the ending was very abrupt and a bit lazy with the way the antagonist meets her end. Overall solid horror movie C+

It wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be but the story line was good. There were some good laughing scenes.

The scares were too predictable. There wasn’t really anything that makes this movie stand out from other horror films. Its connected to the Conjuring but its definitely one of the weaker films of that universe
