I thought the movie was great visually, but I found the plot a little slow. I had figured out the plot from the trailers, so there wasn't much surprise left when watching the film.

It was a fun movie. I felt like it's a great thrill ride to just have fun. It wasn't particularly life changing, but was enjoyable

Without having seen the original anime, I got the distinct impression that this movie was concerned more with recreating shots than with fleshing out the characters and making me care about what happened to them.
