Very powerful and great intense movie. Was told it is very close to what really happened at Selma. You really feel the struggle and the darkness of that time period. Hard to believe there are still racial issues today.

Great film. Good insight into the characters of the Civil Rights movement and also of the Administration. Very moving.

Emotional & inspiring film. It was pretty historically accurate also, which is always good in a film covering a historical event. Overall an excellent film.

Selma is the stirring story of the 1965 civil rights marches in Alabama. Along with the marches themselves, behind the scenes conversations between Martin Luther King and Lyndon Johnson and also George Wallace have an authentic feel. The pacing slowed at many times, but the conclusion was worth the wait.
