Nostalgic, coming of age, could be a chick flick or slumber party movie/ girls night in. I would not watch this again. It did bring up childhood memories, and had a little antiquated charm which felt different from the more progressive/darker films.

This was a step back in time. Oh, what it was like to be young again. All the doubts, all the sweet joys. All the old style of housing, and more. It was very funny without being overly dramatic. I noticed a Judy Blume book based movie.

The movie was funny and heartwarming.

The movie was adorable and stayed very true to the source material. The girl who played Margaret was fantastic and it was a great experience seeing it with my own little tween!
