I thought Carey Mulligan was great. The story was "dark" but I expected that from the trailer.

Unexpected twists, but a necessary and important story

This film is incredible. It works on so many levels. As a revenge story it could have just been that, but instead it cuts much deeper. Carey Mulligan gives a mind-blowing performance. The pain in her performance is palpable, she deserves all the awards. As a woman watching this, honestly on behalf of so many women, it’s the revenge fantasy movie that was thrilling to watch.

Excellent story-telling and top-notch performances. Also delivers a thoughtful examination of male entitlement to sex and power.
