Very well done. Shows the effects of PTSD before it was recognized as a real illness. Also, shows the effect of not allowing emotions to show. Sad in parts but the happiness of the world of pretend is wonderful for a child.

Very illuminating. I was not aware of the story of the author and his family. It's a lesson to be learned about how to treat our children.
