Almost did not sit through it. Hard to identify with the main characters who seemed more alien than the actual aliens. Way too long, verging on obvious and boring at times. Somewhat interesting special effects and alien life forms with sparse humor. Love story is so clinical and dry that it should have been dismissed. Best scene was the.virtual market with the rescue of the duplicator. Would not suggest seeing this to any adult

Well, it wasn't 5th Element. I really don't think this movie had a real story line and that's why it was just okay for me, I would not go see it again.

I am happy that I had free passes. This is despite the fact that they made us stand around waiting to see if all the Press showed up. They had 3 rows of seats just for the Press and didn't know if there would be enough seats for those people that had passes. If we didn't get into see this film and if I had to pay to see it, my attitude would be different. The sad part is that this movie is a Rentable. Don't waste your cash. It's great for kids and they tossed in a few funny tidbits in for us old people. The Graphics were fabulous and they managed to use every single alien from every other movie you have ever seen. They had a few big names tossed in, too, but the leads had no chemistry & looked like they were 16 years old. They just were too young for the parts to be taken seriously and they had no chemistry between them. It was almost as bad as Leo & Kate in Titanic. The script was wanting & light. The entire movie was stolen by a tiny adorable creature that was a pooping Cornucopia. I give this movie 2 stars for just the effort and Rihanna's considerable costume changes.

3D effects were awesome; not much of a plot. I am happy to have seen the move.
