This was a deeply powerful movie, which brought to light a story that needed to be told. The movie was fantastic we directed, in the performances were spectacular. This was clearly the best movie of the year, and will get tons of Oscar buzz!

Although this movie implicates the Catholic Church in the systematic coverup of priest abuse in Boston, it touches on how power (even the religious kind) can be abused.If you are interested in journalism, the law, and entrenched institutions unable to police themselves, you'll love it!

The movie was great. The cast was wonderful and the acting superb; particularly Mark Ruffalo's performance. I appreciated the director's choice to allow humor to creep in occasionally. The subject matter of the film is very heavy so the touches of humor allowed the audience to take a "breather" every now and then without ever compromising the gravity of the situation portrayed.

good movie. good actors. Oscar Buzz for best picture. It has always bothered me the Catholic Churches cover-up of the abuse of children. This movie is compelling and brings out The Boston Globes investigation beautifully.
