Very enjoyable and funny behind the scenes documentary!

Really interesting take on an enigma, background genius who has sustained a career for well more than 50 years. Very much enjoyed seeing and hearing the “players,” writers, producers talk about him, which provided a bit of insight. Still an inscrutable man and a challenge to do a documentary on. Enjoyed it very much.

How do you capture an elusive and enigmatic figure? You don’t — this doc respects and pays homage to the man behind the curtain with tiny glimpses behind it. Its aim is not to reveal but to revel in the lore of Lorne.

I thought it was great. Loved the perspectives of all the past members of SNL and especially the writers. I thought it was very thoughtfully presented. Lorne still comes off as sort of an enigma, but I think that was purposeful because he is!
