Someone would first have to tell me what this movie was about. Motive, plot, whatever is NOT clear. I give 2 stars for the special effects. Sorry.

Excellent action but it was all over the place and the ending was ridiculous. I felt like I was sitting through a long action scene with no structure just chaos.

The plot was hard to follow. Many of the scenes didn't flow well together. Too many unrealistic scenarios as well. Every car the protagonist jumped into - he could start up and drive right away. The fight scenes were well choreographed. Overall, though, I wouldn't recommend this film.

I thought Mile 22 was a perfect example of poor and frenetic editing choices that ruined a good movie. The story was solid, cast the same, but the choices to quickly cut the scenes in order to create the feeling of a fast-paced and tension-filled story was unnecessary. The action sequences seemed well executed and were exciting to see, however, most of them were difficult to focus on because of the editing. Frankly, I think Peter Berg could've relied on the story and his actors to carry the weight of helping the audience to feel the sense of urgency. Outside of that decision, the movie was entertaining and exciting. I only wish I could've actually focused on more of it.
