Not great movie. It's too far fetched and nothing is explained very well.

The CGI was incredible. Would recommend people watch just for that. Story line, a bit laughable. Unnecessary set up for a sequel that I wont be seeing. Would have appreciated a full story, not a first chapter. Amazing talent is wasted on a poor script.

The movie was going okay... not great... but enjoyable... until Alita left a competition to save her guy! THAT was so disappointing. Everything she did... it was for Hugo. A guy would never leave a competition for a girl!! So from there on the movie was not enjoyable. Knowing that James Cameron was involved and knowing he can make great movies, was totally surprised on how weak this movie was.

The movie was unnecessarily long and parts of the movie served no purpose.
