Very cute movie. I’m obviously not the intended audience, but I think it has something to offer anyone. I firmly believe this should be mandatory viewing for all adolescents…, regardless of which of the two genders they are. Young guys could perhaps appreciate what young women have to go through (and realize how good guys have it at that age, comparatively). I also think it could demystify puberty

I read the book as a pre-teen so I was super excited to see the movie version. The movie did not disappoint and was just as funny as the book. I loved her innocence yet how she handled some very adult topics. As a parent no myself of a pre-teen daughter I appreciated the parents role and learned from them as well on how to work through indifferences.
