Very good acting and very depiciung if its time.

It's actually not a bad movie. That first sentence may seem harsh but I only say that because the last few preview movies that I have seen have been questionable. I enjoyed the storyline, the pacing and the characterization. The storyline was realistic and relatable to even today's sentiment concerning homosexuality and the subtle but notable hints of racism displayed. The pacing kept me interested in the plot of the movie without downtime for disinterest to sneak in. The characterization showed the innocence of Beth and the courageous yet fearful demeanor of Frank.
