If you're in this for eye candy, you won't be disappointed. The CGI, Chris Pratt, and Jennifer Lawrence have you covered there. But story? This movie plays the relationship between the film's two major characters as a love story, but the development of that love is presented poorly and feels rushed. Passengers shoots to straddle the line between action film and love story and fails on both counts. I'd not recommend paying theater prices to see this.

Basic love story. Not too much depth to the film...trailer basically tells you what the entire movie is about. Only twist was that Chris Pratt opens J Law's pod. Don't think I'll watch this movie again.

I thought the film was visually stunning and had a lot of very good moments between Jim and Autora; however it moved very slow. It took so long for them to discover the problem, which the audience has known all along. Jim is a mechanic, but never thinks to try and fix things on the ship. I enjoyed Arthur as well, he provided some comic relief when Jim was at his lowest. I wanted to see more of their life on the ship after they fixed it. Overall a fun film, but not as interesting as I expected.

It started off very slow and was not very engaging at the beginning. By mid movie it finally grabbed my attention but by that point it was practically over.
