I like the suspense the movie kept in the film. The unexpected turn was added perfectly! Truly enjoyably. Women should run and not hesitate in every horror movie tho. Great movie!

I really enjoyed this film. It reminded me a lot of the original "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" with Audry Hepburn. I hope it does well at the box office.

Plain plot, at first even a little boring. But all the relentless game-changing twists made this film wonderful! I love that always-surviving boy. His "strong vitality" really surprised me many times, LOL. It's a great horror film worth watching.

The camera work in the film is appealing, almost surprisingly so. Long shots and agile movement contradict genre norms, at least through the first act. As the trio first meander through the house of their victim, the camera is almost playful with its foreshadowing push-ins and freewheeling tracking shots. The specific attention to props throughout the house add to this playfulness and the development of character.
