Interesting concept but the characters were is stupid. And the ending was really stupid too.If the screenwriting or script were more controlled by the director it seems this film would have better potential. The modern Twist on Ben-Hur that was applied to this movie took me out of the storyline.Please in the future when remaking classic highly acclaimed movies give a good director freedom.

Producers & directors tried to tackle too much content. By the time 120 minutes of film coverage had elapsed, a tidy ending was conceived to sort of wrap everything up.

Ben-Hur was a reasonable update of the movie classic. Nothing exceptional about this remake just mindless entertainment.
