This was quite touching. It had a great ending. Much care was taken to show this sensitive subject. I really enjoyed the film

An excellent treatment of the taboo subject of homosexuality in the 1970's American south. I love that the story was told by Beth and showed her coming of age in that era. Really realistic portrayal.

I feel "Uncle Frank" is a very timely movie about acceptance. 40 years on from the time this tory is depicted, members of the LGBT community still face adversity from people who perceive them as different. We have to learn to accept all our differences if there is ever to be peace in the world.
