Really good movie. Was very interesting and kept me engaged. So glad I got to see it.

One of the few successful Horror sequels that not only replicates what was great about the original but expands on the premise.

I truly enjoyed it

At first the movie has a different tonality. More of a heroes vs. villains kind of vibe, and the movie is less creepy like the first film since you get a sense of power from the good guys that can be used against the evil, so there's a comfort in that. However, toward the end, returning to The Overlook brings back all the good, familiar creepy vibes that take you on a wild nostalgia trip.
