It was a very good live action remake, but I recommend watching the original first other than that it was great.

It looked beautiful and soundtrack was great. A wonderful adaptation to the original with the same director and writer. Glad they're already making a second one!

This was a great reimagining with a strong tie to the original material with enough new to make it worth watching the updated version. You can't help but root for Hiccup and the sweet Toothless.

Fantastic and thorough depiction of the dragons, lacking in excitement. Eagerly anticipating the release of How To Train A Dragon 2.
