I had a free ticket to the preview of Hacksaw Ridge. I imagine it will glean a few academy awards. It engaged you from the opening scenes all the way through. The battle scenes were graphic, hard to take, but from what I've read of the war in the Pacific, they were accurate. Humor, romance, faith and courage, all there. Our rights come to us from hard fought heroes.

Excellent portrayal and certainly worthwhile. The entire audience applauded at movie's end!

Excellent movie, moving, funny, sad, and made you think about your choices in life. Saw it with my 20 yrs old daughter who has enlisted in the Army, and leaving 11.21.16.
