So cute, funny, and reminiscent (in a good way).

Stayed true to the essence of the book. Blume’s book is one of my all-time favorites and the film captured all the emotions perfectly. I loved the film and the nostalgia tied to it regarding adolescence.

I would 100% recommend this movie! It made me laugh, cry, and brought me right back to my awkward teenage years. I also feel it was a great way to open up conversations about hard topics with your preteen/teenage kids including religion, puberty, peer pressure, being an up-stander, and friendship.
