It was a fun experience in theatres with the crowd gasping and enjoying the film. Love the communal experience that this film brought. The sound was too loud for some reason in the whole thing. I don't know if it's because of the theatre or the film. The special effects were fun. While the story was a little generic, we could see a visual intetion especially wich so many unique shots with Split diopters. It was an enjoyable time in general!

Great horror movie.

Very cinematic, there was never a “quiet” moment. It wasn’t “scary”, but it wasn’t about fear, but family with the demonic element of the “mummy/demon trapped in Katie’s body”. Very enjoyable and even my mom liked the film. The locations felt natural, and I liked the pacing.

I liked the horror comedy and gore aspects. The film had elements of The Exorcist, Drag Me to Hell, and Evil Dead. I enjoyed this take on The Mummy more so than a direct remake of previous Mummy films because it felt more original.
