WONDERFUL FILM! This gives such a great perspective on hearing loss and the Deaf experience from many sides! I am very excited for this film to be released nationwide and hope that it can help the hearing community get a better perspective on and understanding of the Deaf world and Deaf experience. I know I will be recommending this to everyone I can once it is released. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

A very compelling drama of an individual coming to terms with his hearing loss while trying to restructure his life. The journey shows how he helped others while also helping himself, yet his desire to return to a completely normal life overshadows to some extent the progress he has made. The ending of the movie leaves one to interpret what happens from that point forward. My take is that he comes to terms that his hearing remains distorted, and he would rather not hear at all. Hopefully he returns to the deaf community and stays on there to help others to adapt and live a fulfilling life.

Loved it! The story was great and I loved the way the sound was done. It felt like an immersive experience and you could really feel what Ruben was going through because of that.
