I was pleasantly surprised at the humor in this! The trailer didn't seem appealing to me as a period drama fan. I gave it an eye roll due to the lack of historical accuracy. But the angst and story line is as though Reign and Men in Tights had a baby! I am actually interested in seeing where this goes. The actors are very good, many whom I recognize and a few I don't. Very entertaining so far!

My Lady Jane throws history on it's head and gives us a headstrong heroine, a new outlook on Edward VI, and a modern women's take on life and love. Humorous and beautifully shot, it's a fun take on a very dark period in English history. Can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!
