Great movie, great writing, not too fabricated

Very good movie!

I think it was a good, heartfelt movie that at the end of the day was a TRUE STORY about a father trying to keep his dysfunctional family together by any means rather than about the drug and gun dealing. The drug kingpin aspect was secondary and just a means of a way for a poor struggling family to try and get out of their current situation. I really got the feeling of this being a Family movie trying to make it out of the ghetto of Detroit that just made bad choices along the way.
