My friend and I loved the movie. She likened it to going to a great family reunion. We had planned to go on Friday and bring friends but will tell them they cannot miss it and we may go again with them. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for a wonderful evening.

As stated in the film, the past might be a more comfortable place to live than the future. A grand finale was a wonderful tribute to the series of Downton Abbey and a fitting goodbye its fans. Funny, sincere, dry wit, and love of family were on display to say goodbye. Wonderful acting and a crisp script honoured the show and its audience beautifully. An ode to dame Maggie Smith at the end a chefs kiss!
