This movie isn't for everyone. It sits comfortably under the umbrella of other science fiction creature features. If you enjoy Alien: Isolation, Gravity, The Abyss, Lovecraft, and Sunshine, this movie is something you'll enjoy, otherwise some of what makes the end great might pass you by. It is an unrelenting 1 1/2 hours that was marketed correctly for once. Kristen Stewart is fantastic in it.

Film was a great jumpy thriller.

It was chilling. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Even jumped a few times. The movie played on the psychology behind being 7 miles underwater, walking on the freaking seafloor with NO IDEA what's down there! Thumbs up!
