My daughter and I enjoyed the film. I could relate to it because it was set in the time of my high school years.

Good movie. Good story line. Funny. Good drama. Emotional. Depicted the reality of segregation during that time.

I thought the movie was phenomenal. Tom Hardy gave the performance of a lifetime, though I wish the storyline dove deeper into the story of Benny and Kathy outside of the Vandals!

The story was riveting, only to be outdone by the lead actors, all of whom delivered Oscar worthy performances.
